There are a lot of ways to say “rabbit”. Bunny, hare, cottontail, and rabbit. Actually, rabbits, hares, and cottontails are all different types of the same species. Bunny is just a word we use for all of those. In case you’re wondering, rabbits are the most common type of bunny to buy.
Bunnies are sort of like cats. They can’t learn many tricks, especially not the bunny-in-the-hat trick but it’s not impossible. And remember: all bunnies are different, so ask your veterinarian what your bunny can learn.
Bunnies are rodents. Rodents like food like carrots, grass, hay, lettuce, and other veggies. But here’s one thing that confuses people: the water container. There is both a water bottle and a water dish. So which one should you use? Either one is fine! Just ask your vet what they think your bunny should have.
Whether your bunny roams around the house or has its special cage, they make a great pet.
